 MembershipMembership is a solemn commitment and Brotherhood is an eternal bond. To this Fraternity, the maker of the commitment becomes synonymous with the commitment itself. Membership in Alpha Phi Alpha is a lifelong dedication to the mission and ideas of the Fraternity.
Members should not let personal goals supersede those of the Fraternity. "An Alpha Phi Alpha man s attitude should not be how much can I derive from the Fraternity?" but "How much can I do for the Fraternity?" We are not a divided Brotherhood; we are ONE ALPHA with one joint and unified purpose.
